There were no posts in the social media section so I figured I would go first. Let's get some IT Campaign ideas flowing for social media, in particular Facebook. We have made a small splash in social media that has helped reinforce the brand however generating engaging content is the biggest challenge. As IT professionals most of us are lacking in multimedia ability such as video editing, etc. The fact that IT is generally not a tangible product also presents a media challenge.
So how does an MSP / IT Consulting company create engaging content? What content would you share that you capture the interest of your online community? Let's get some ideas going and help each other out! Here are my rough ideas for the context of a campaign.
1. pictures and stories from break / fix showcasing the downsides & praising the proactive model
2. publicize everything the company does, welcome new hires, new clients, share a story about helping a charity, your participation in public events.
3. Create a contest with a prize (free month of IT support, free netbook, free gift card) use this as a lead generation campaign powered by social media
Any other ideas here?

I would certainly like to see more interactive/helpful social media posts from the Pronto team. I've enjoyed seeing the little trivia facts but it seems the main thing we're posting every day is trivia factoids. Like Travis said, a little more interactivity would be helpful. Trivia factoids don't really encourage our customers and fans to reply or comment on our posts.
